We were waiting in line for the Explosions in the Sky concert (at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery) when a girl walked by asking if anyone had an extra ticket. We did have an extra ticket, so after a few negotiations we sold the ticket to this girl who had just flown into town from Boston to visit some friends. A guy in our group was from Boston, so they hit it off and talked for a few minutes. When it was time to enter the cemetery, we said our goodbyes and set up our picnic site inside.
After much good food, wine, gluten-free cupcakes (John!) and an AMAZING set by Explosions, we packed up our stuff in the dark cemetery, navigating our way through the drunken awe-struck crowds back toward the entrance. Somewhere along the way, John stopped to photobomb some people that he couldn't really see because it was so dark. The flash went off, lighting up the entire area for a split second when we heard "hey, extra ticket guy!!" He had unintentionally photobombed the group we made friends with before the show.
Photobomb super success!
